Who We Are

We're Chatham Venture Crew 28!

We are female youth members of the Boy Scouts of America! Why? Well, because we love being outdoors! Our Venture Crew welcomes all high school girls from Northern New Jersey to join us in exploring our world!

MONTHLY ADVENTURES:

We venture out one weekend a month, and our outings consist of:

High Ropes!
Escape Rooms!
Community Service!
Rock Climbing!
Canoeing!
Hiking!
Fishing!
White Water Rafting!

and of course,

CAMPING! CAMPING! CAMPING!
- cooking!
- card games!
- hiking!
- tenting!
- mastering skills!
- s'mores and hot chocolate!!!!

MONTHLY MEETINGS:

Located in Chatham at the Gloria Dei Church; we host monthly, hour-long, fun and informative meetings.

Further Explanation:

Venture Crew is a program of Boy Scouts of America. Our goal as a Venture Crew is to focus on being active and outside! Although Scouts and Venture Crew both have aspects of earning badges and ranks, additionally Venture Crew 28 is highly focused on going on adventures. As a crew we focus on teaching each member the skills and knowledge they will need for their future. We hope each and every girl comes out of each experience happy and confident of their skills.

Created in 2016, Chatham Venture Crew 28 has consistently gone an outing each month throughout the months of September - June. Our members are from Chatham, Madison, Florham Park, Berkeley Heights, Summit, Martinsville, Millburn, Westfield, and we aim to expand more.
